Last updated: 1 July 2026
ADF Psychology (operated by David G Broadbent, registered psychologist) is committed to protecting the privacy of clients, referrers and website visitors, in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and applicable health records legislation.
We may collect personal and health information including your name, contact details, referral source, and information you provide about your circumstances when you submit an enquiry, book an appointment, or engage in a clinical session.
Information collected is used to respond to enquiries, schedule and provide psychological services, meet professional and legal obligations (including AHPRA and Medicare/DVA requirements where applicable), and, if you consent, to communicate with referrers involved in your care.
What is discussed in a clinical session is confidential and is not shared with your unit, chain of command, or employer, except where required by law, where there is a serious risk to your safety or the safety of others, or where you provide specific written consent for information to be shared.
Personal information is not sold or disclosed to third parties for marketing purposes. Information may be disclosed to relevant health professionals involved in your care with your consent, or where required by law or professional obligation.
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect personal information from unauthorised access, loss or misuse, including secure storage of clinical records and encrypted transmission of website form data.
You may request access to, or correction of, personal information held about you by contacting David directly. Some requests may be subject to limitations under applicable health records legislation.
